Midas XL-8 Live Performance System

HOF audio – lighting – vision from Haren and Midas Consoles are proud to make the digital Midas XL8 live performance system available for the Dutch and European rental market.

At the Prolight + Sound exhibition in Frankfurt HOF has committed to a 96 channel system and associated components. This system will be available for the rental market and end users. Besides the HOF XL8 system HOF will have more XL8 systems available for rental or support.

This move was initiated when HOF was invited by Midas to evaluate the initial concept and plans for the manufacturer’s much-anticipated digital project. A following dialog between Midas Consoles Holland and HOF lead to the engagement where HOF makes the Midas XL8 system available for the Dutch and European market. Because of the backup systems is a maximum availability guaranteed so that the utilisation of the XL8 system will be maximized. This approach means that all rental companies and end users will be able to rent XL8 systems. A worldwide XL8 rental structure is adopted, allowing rental companies to make a margin on sub hires without the need for a substantial investment in new inventory and increased staff and service costs.

HOF will provide in-house training and service facilities, which will be available to all rental companies and end users. In addition HOF will supply a XL8 system technician to assist in starting up any XL8 rental project. HOF commits in this way to a high level of quality, service and support regardless of the hiring company.
